Peter Andre hopes good mate Kerry Katona will be okay after splitting from her agent this month.
Reality star Kerry Katona claims she left Claire Powell's celebrity agency CAN Associates - who also manage Pete - because she felt her 'integrity had been compromised.'
'Kerry is still my friend but, for the last 18 months, I've seen Claire protect her with her life,' reveals Pete, 38.
'She only ever had her best interests at heart.'
CAN took on Kerry, 30, just weeks after her nasty break-up from ex-husband Mark Croft last year and she quickly won back public support after beating her drug habit and working hard to sort out her bankruptcy.
But since she left Claire and co, Now has learnt that Kerry's been meeting with ex-cabbie Mark, 40.
'I haven't spoken to Kerry since [she left CAN] but that's not unusual as we often go weeks without ringing each other,' says Pete.
'I just hope she knows what she's doing.'
